The clients are Windows CE PDAs. The communication is enabled using a custom made Bluetooth hardware module.

OctoStatistik implements a system that manages the central database for the Swedish Swimming Federation. This database contains information regarding all registered swimmers in Sweden, and serves as source for multiple query features. Each swim club is able to manage its own swimmers and register them to future competitions organized by the club or any other swim club which is using Octostatistik competition management module.

The competition management module allows each swim club to easily create swimming competitions using a XML file in an international data exchange format for swimming. The module also provides functionality to manage the competitions by allowing users to: register swimmers in competition, impose qualifying time limits for each event, export registered swimmers and clubs, etc.

By using our complex statistic module the reporting capabilities are basically without limit.

Currently the application registers over 2.5 million swimming results.

A Danish version was released in 2006 and a Finish one in 2008.

The registered customers have access to environmental laws and receive the notifications based on theirs subscriptions. Each customer has the possibility: to administrate its groups of laws, to administrate its comments associated to laws, to administrate its users with different roles and rights and to export data in HTML or/and RTF.

UBOX is an application with two modules, an online website and a desktop application. The desktop client used input scanned check images received from bank to build and update an online database of images ordered in lockboxes.

This application is a Web based solution that generates a set of complex reports based on a diversity of questionnaires. We used a loose-coupled design here,having an Application Core module that is responsible with reports and questionnaire management. Upon the core module we have built a series of business services such as: User and Role management, charging system, authorisation and authentication and logging.

The application can run in standalone mode, with no business services attached or it can run in business environment, where all services are enabled. Loose coupling is achieved by using Spring AOP injections. A web workflow is also provided, offering an xml-based configuration for groupping reports and questionnaires in a tutorial-like manner. A client webservice is consuming reports and questionnaires from a independent client web application.
